Villa Naia, Majestic Villa under construction

Contemporary Mediterranean Villa in the Vista del Valle urbanization of Moraira. It is located on a plot with wide views of the bay, in a quiet and well connected, next to Sol Park tennis club, on the valley of the Rambla de les Sorts that leads to the town. The house has a 310m² building on two floors, and a basement of 70 m², is located on a plot of 800m² with a slight downward slope to the southeast and open views to the sea.

The project is modeled according to the conditions of the place, location and landscape, orientations and visuals, and is developed by composing the main rooms open to the sea, towards the views and the most favorable orientations, it is formed with large and glazed spaces, opens the visuals to the front in its two heights, towards the bay of Moraira and southeast orientation, the most favorable, sunny and bright, the excess of lights and sunlight modulates with the shadows of eaves of porches and terraces, forming open, filtering spaces and covered, transition between the interior closed building and the external environment.

The house develops around the formation of the porches and terraces, open laterally but covered, facing the landscape, framing the panoramic view to the sea, spaces to live in Mediterranean environments, and linked to the interior rooms, depending on the function, degree of intimacy and orientation, of each of them. Key spaces that give meaning to this house, inspired by the experience of traditional local architecture, the porches, the riu-raus and the naya.

Porches are places to be, covered, illuminated and ventilated. A reverence to the value of traditional Mediterranean architecture, interpreting and transcribing the value of those spaces
